Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing to book here at Launceston Villa Bed & Breakfast. We look forward to welcoming you. When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
Price
The price includes accommodation and breakfast.
Reservation, Payment and Cancellation
A booking is not confirmed or room reserved until a deposit has been received. On booking we will ask
for a cheque deposit of the first nights stay. The balance of stay is payable on arrival. As a small
concern we do not have a card facility, so require deposits by cheque and balance of stay in cash.
If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. In the event if you have to cancel, the deposit
will not be refunded in the event of cancellation within 14 days of arrival or "no show". If after
arrival, if the client has to leave before the end of the stay for any reason, the full balance of the
stay is due and no refund can be given.
Non - availability
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Pets
Sorry we do not accept pets.
Acceptance of Children
We accept children from 15 years of age who are responsible enough to stay in a room by themselves.
Smoking
We employ a strict no smoking policy throughout for health and cleanliness.
Arrival
Your room is available from 4pm on day of arrival. Should you arrive before this time please park in one of the spaces provided in our car park and feel free to wander into town. Please confirm approx arrival time, when making a booking, or at least 1 week prior to arrival, this is essential please.
Late arrival procedure
Please ensure you contact us no later than 6pm to let us know if you will be arriving late. Failure to
notify us may result in the room being re-let or the full cost of the room being charged to you.
Departure
We ask our guests to vacate their rooms on the day of departure by 10am to permit us to prepare the rooms for the next guests.
Damages and Breakages
We endeavor to provide a very high standard of furnishings & cleanliness in all our rooms
and ask for your respect and consideration of our efforts towards your comfort.
Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which
you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report any accidents, as soon as they occur, we do
not normally charge for minor breakages or damages. We may send you an invoice for repair or making good
if the damage or breakage is significant, or if additional cleaning is required to furnishings/bedding
etc, in addition we may make an extra charge, if you did not report this at the time. We operate a no
smoking policy within the building and gardens, any breach of this condition will result in a £50.00
surcharge for additional cleaning costs.
Behaviour
The proprietors reserve the right to judge acceptable levels of behaviour of clients, where these are
deemed to be unacceptable and the client does not take reasonable steps to correct their behaviour, we may
terminate the booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation.
Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any
vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees
or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Privacy Policy
Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer.
The information contained in this website is for general information purposes only. The information is
provided by Launceston Villa and whilst we endeavour to keep the information up-to-date and correct,
we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy,
reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products,
services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such
information is therefore strictly at your own risk. In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage
including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever

Villa. We have no control over the nature, content and availability of those sites. The inclusion of any
